Boundary Marking
& Pole Fixing

Clear lines settle disputes. We re-establish your boundary on the ground from authentic records, show you exactly where it runs, and fix permanent RCC poles at the corners — so the line stays visible long after we leave the site.

What's included

What boundary work includes

From reading the tippan to concreting the last corner pole.

  • On-ground demarcation from tippan, revenue maps and 7/12
  • All corners marked, plus intermediate points on long boundaries
  • Permanent RCC boundary poles fixed and concreted at corners
  • Encroachment checked — where the ground line differs from the record
  • Corner coordinates documented so the boundary can be recovered
  • Sketch issued showing pole positions and dimensions
01

A disputed edge

Neighbours disagree, a wall has crept, a bund has moved. A measured boundary from the record ends the argument with evidence.

02

Land bought, never marked

Plenty of parcels change hands on paper alone. Fixing poles is the cheapest insurance a landowner can buy.

03

Before fencing or building

A compound wall built on an assumed line is expensive to move. Mark first, then build.

How the fixing runs

Four steps, no surprises.

01

Record study

Tippan, 7/12 and neighbouring parcel data read and compared.

02

Field survey

Corners re-established by instrument from fixed reference points.

03

Pole fixing

RCC poles set and concreted at corners, painted and numbered.

04

Documentation

Sketch, dimensions and corner coordinates handed over for your file.

Questions we get

Boundary marking, boundary fixing and RCC pole fixing — asked and answered.

Do all neighbours need to be present?

Not for the survey itself — we work from the record. But where a boundary is contested, having the adjoining owner present when we mark it saves a second visit and usually settles the matter on the spot.

What are the poles made of and how long do they last?

Standard RCC boundary poles, set in concrete and numbered. Properly fixed, they outlast fencing and stay findable even after ploughing seasons.

Can you help if there is an encroachment?

Yes. We show the recorded line against the occupied line, document the difference with measurements and coordinates, and give you a sketch you can take to the other party — or to your advocate if it goes further.

My boundary stones are missing. Can the line still be found?

Almost always. Boundaries are recoverable from the record and from surrounding fixed points even when every stone is gone. That recovery work is a routine part of what we do.
