When the developer set out to turn a valuable piece of land at Sawangi into a school, Landmark Surveys carried the ground side of that vision — measuring the parcel, planning the non-agricultural layout and seeing the approvals through, so the structure could rise on solid, sanctioned ground. Today that land is a fully realised Podar International School campus.

Twenty acres of open agricultural land at Georai, with nothing on it but a boundary in the records. Landmark Surveys carried the whole distance — the first measurement survey and reconciliation with the 7/12, the non-agricultural layout designed around internal roads, open space and amenity space, and the file taken through the Collectorate and Town Planning to final sanction. What was raw land is now a sanctioned twenty-acre layout, plotted and ready to sell.

DP RoadsTotal StationCity-wide
When Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar set out to open up its Development Plan road network, every corridor had to be measured and put on the ground before anything else could happen — before notices, before acquisition, before a single machine moved. Landmark Surveys carried that ground work across the city: total station survey of each corridor, the sanctioned DP alignment superimposed on what was actually built, and the line marked out on site. Twenty-plus corridors, from 9-metre lanes in the old city to 36-metre arterials, much of it through dense built-up fabric under police protection.

What the work involved
Total station survey of each corridor, tied to a permitted property as base reference
DP superimposition — sanctioned alignment overlaid on surveyed ground conditions
Ground marking of the corridor line for the Corporation's notice and acquisition process
AutoCAD deliverables — alignment drawings issued per corridor, handed to Town Planning for the Land Records JMS stage
01 Survey underway in the dense Champa Chowk stretch, shopfronts measured as they stand02 Total station on the corridor line — fieldwork carried out under police escort
